Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly

While I was installing a program in my pc, I got the following error message. [ error code 1067]. It happened when the installation process appears to work OK. The message says:

“Could not start the (name of your application) on Local Computer.

Error 1067: The program terminated unexpectedly.”

The screen shot is attached hereby.

Windows could not start the OpenLink Virtuoso Server service on Local Computer.

Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly.

I can’t solve this.

Please help.

Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly

Well Ywain,

This problem you give us is a general problem of port missing. The OpenLink Virtuoso Server is software that uses a same port by Skype. If you are using any software like Skype of Yahoo messenger or vibe just close the software and make sure that all the processes of the software is terminated. Open process manager and click all processes and see if there is any.

 

I think you can get rid of this problem.
