Error 1303 occurred while NI MetaSuite Installer was running

Hello,

 

I am getting the Windows error message 1303 during the installation of NI Software. Why does the installer show this error message even I am logged in as administrator. What is the cause of this issue? Is there any way to run this Software successfully? Any assistance would be really appreciated.

Error: NI MetaSuite Installer: Error 1303. The installer has insufficient privileges to access this directory: C:Program Files (x86)National InstrumentsSharedMIFMetaSuite. The installation cannot continue. Log on as administrator or contact your system administrator.

Error 1303 occurred while NI MetaSuite Installer was running

Hi Michael,
The error is because the admin permissions are not assigned.
To resolve this error follow the below steps:
1) Log in as 'System Administrator'
2) Right Click 'Security and Sharing', Click 'Sharing'
3) Select 'Do not share this folder'
4) In the Security tab, ensure 'Permissions for Administrators' is checked
5) Disable the computer from firewall, virus protection software
6) Close all active programs
7) Restart the system and continue the installation
8) After the installation is complete, enable the firewall and virus protection
