Error 1317 When installing SEP on MS Server 2003 64bit.

Hello friends,

I am receiving the Error message “Error 1317” while installing SEP on my MS Server 2003 64bit.

Error 1317. An error occurred while attempting to create the directory C:Windowssystem32driversSEP

Is somebody faced this issue before I want to know/.

Error 1317 When installing SEP on MS Server 2003 64bit.

Hello Josh Pikee,

First, check that your SEP is compatible with the MS Server 2003 64-bit. If you get a positive result, check that your Windows is installed in the “C” drive.

Sometimes you have problems if Windows is installed in another driver, so you must check it.

If this doesn’t solve your problem, you may contact their support center.

Error 1317 When installing SEP on MS Server 2003 64bit.

You are getting an error message (Error 1317) because of file or folder level permissions. You can address this error problem by following these steps.

 

1) Open a window.

2) Go to Program Files.

3) Click Properties.

4) Click the Permission button (If you are using Windows XP/200, ignore this).

5) Confirm that Administrators, System, and Creator Owner are set to Full Control.

6) Click Ok.

7) Close the window.
