My PC got infected with a Trojan and other virus one day. Upon discovering that I decided to uninstall many of my programs and managed to retain the rest. Then I wanted to reinstall Adobe Reader/Acrobat 7, and in so doing I encountered an error (image below):
The error message: Error 1327.Invalid Drive E"
The confusing thing is, I don’t have a drive E on my PC. It is not partitioned.
What is causing this error? Please tell me the best way to get rid of this.
Bundle of thanks.

Dear Daisy Paz,
Â
According to the error message you received, please consider following this solution in order to get rid of this error, temporarily remap the invalid drive:
Â
-
The invalid drive letter you got is "E:"
-
Click "Start -> All programs -> Accessories" right click the command prompt and choose "Run As Administrator"
-
Type: Â subst E: "C:Windows", and press Enter
-
Reinstall the Adobe Acrobat reader
Â
Another solution to this problem is to run the "Fix it" solution by Microsoft support webpage in this link:
Â
Â
Hope this may help you.
Â
Best of luck.
