Error 1334: Application Controller MSI Install Exception Occurred on TurboTax Software

Hi,

Since for years, we are using TurboTax Software but suddenly we are unable to open the program getting error “Error 1334: Application Controller MSI Install Exception occurred”.

I gave search online and found to forcibly uninstall and reinstall the software. I did that but the problem persists. At present we are able to access the software but it may be unable to access that within few days. Tax season coming and it is highly needful to solve the problem.

Any ideas? Help please.

Hello Bray,

The issue you are getting when using the TurboTax software can be resolved using the following procedure:

• First, you will have to log on to Windows as the administrator.
• After that you will need to try and perform the TurboTax application after every step has been completed.
• You will need to turn off the firewall temporarily, as well as the antivirus.
• And then check your CD drive to ensure that it is working properly.
• After that you will need to use flush command steps which will help you to uninstall and then reinstall TurboTax forcefully.
