Error 1713 in MS Office

Hello TechyV,

I am being fed up with the  Error 1713 in my MS Office. It is for Windows 7. When I try to install office I get the following error that says, “Error: "MSI_package_name cannot install”

 

Then the registry errors were repaired. Yet I am getting the same error.

 

Why? Any solution?

Error 1713 in MS Office

The error will appear if you attempt to install MS Office 2007 or standalone program. Users could not install any Office 2007 suite just by running the .msi file provided in the Office 2007 suites. To fix this, search for the setup.exe of your MS Office 2007 on the root folder of the source and then double-click to run the file. It will fix your problem.

Error 1713 in MS Office

Hi Jaclyn,

 

This error usually occurs when you try to manually install a Microsoft Office Suite by double clicking the .msi file. To resolve your problem, try to run the Setup.exe file in the root folder. If you're installing from a cd/dvd drive you can find it by opening My computer, open the cd/dvd drive locate the file Setup.exe and double click to install. If you still encounter the problem your system might be infected by a virus, so try to scan it.
