Hi everyone here,
Perhaps a few months back I once played Fiesta Online on my pc. As I have failed to uninstall or remove the program normally, i.e. as usually we do, I removed the folders and so on. Now whenever I went to download and install it again, the set up application informs me of a previous installation of the same.
Then I tried as said by the message, to uninstall it from my control panel, it says the folder doesn’t exist.
The previous error message is as follows;
Fiesta – InstallShield Wizard
A previous version of this software is installed. Please uninstall it before running this setup.
And now when I go to Control Panel, Uninstall programs and I want to uninstall old Fiesta then it shows:
Error Code: -5005 : 0x80070002
Error Information:

I can’t understand why it’s happening. Please help if possible.

Hi Jettphoenixx,
Try to follow these steps, it will help you a lot.
1. Delete the Fiesta folder on your drive
2. Open your My Computer then go to your C:Drive and choose Program Files. Click the tools located in menu bar at the top of the box.
3. Click the Folder Option, then the View. Find Hidden Files and Folders option. Just make sure that it is set to Show Hidden Files and Folders. Click the Apply then Ok.
4. Go back to Program Files Folder. Look for the folder named Installshield Installation Information and you open it. Look for folder name E127B28D – 1A2A- 45C4- A74E – C817E0A74E3E and delete it.
5. Empty your Recycle Bin and reboot your PC.
That’s all.
Hope it will help you.

That’s the usual result when you are not uninstalling a program properly. In Microsoft Windows, it is incorrect or improper to uninstall a program by simply deleting its folder from the Program Files. That will surely cause problems on your computer when in the future you decide to install and play it again.
The most likely problem you will have is probably related to the Windows registry since installing a program writes entries and values to the registry. When you delete the installation folder instead of uninstalling it from the Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel, the registry entries it created when it was first installed will remain on your computer.
And when you decide to install it in the future, the installation or setup will think that there is an incomplete installation or unfinished setup because it found entries in the registry but the installation folder is missing. When it detects an incomplete or unfinished setup, obviously, the installation will abort. You cannot continue unless the previous setup is completed.
Try running the installer in Safe Mode. Restart your computer then press F8 before the Windows logo appears. In the Advanced menu, select Safe Mode then hit Enter twice. Once in Safe Mode, start the installer and then see if it works. In case you still can’t run the installer, restart your computer in normal mode.
Download and install PC Tools Performance Toolkit. Once installed, open PC Tools Performance Toolkit, select Performance tab, and then click Clean Your Registry. Start scanning and then when finished, click Repair to fix the inconsistencies in the registry. See image.
After cleaning the registry, try installing Fiesta Online again. If you are using an old client, try installing the latest from Fiesta Online. The client supports Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.
