Error #506: ARRAY: Cannot open file (Blackberry 9800)

There,are moments when my blackberry 9800 displays an error message, the program list becomes messed up, I cannot manipulate the programs list, and a bright display pop-up with programs fault 506 pops up.

But I can still continue to use my blackberry after I remove the battery and put it back again. It looks like this:

ARRAY: Cannot open file

OLD: D:chessdataChessTodayCT -April-2008,CBH

This is happening on a regular basis, and I don’t know what to do. Please help.

Error #506: ARRAY: Cannot open file (Blackberry 9800)

Dear Austin chapman

 

According to the error number 506 "can't open file" in your BB, give a try to the following steps:

 

Turn off wireless on your BB and wait a few minutes then turn wireless on again. Go to "SyncJE-BB" and choose the "reset" option. Now choose "Start Sync". If the problem still exists, unplug your battery and plug it again, wait until a wireless connection is established. Go to the "SyncJE-BB" icon and choose the "reset" option again before starting a sync session.

 

If the problem still exists, I think you need to update your OS or if you have the newest version just reinstall.
