Error (740) in using File Zipping Software

I am having problems using my file zipping software. This error appears whenever I use the program: "Error (740): The requested operation requires elevation." Are there other ways that I can zip my files or folders seamlessly?

You can still use that file zipping software. There is no need to download any other software. The error that you have mentioned has nothing to do with the software. It is just a matter of privileges. I am guessing that you are using windows 7 and you have administrative rights on it.

The only thing that you have to do is to run the program always as an administrator. To do this you can lower down that UAC level to lowest. Just type uac on the start search bar in the next window,pull down the level.

There is another way to do this, right click on the file zipping software and run it as an administrator. You can always make this change permanent by right clicking on file of software and going to properties, in the compatibility tab check the run as administrator.

Another Zipping utility that you can use is KGB Archiver. You can use this as a compression tool. To download and install, please watch the video below:
