Hello everyone.
I am having issues when I want to attach a PDF file in my e-mail. I am having Windows 7 OS installed on my computer, also have the Adobe Acrobat 9.4.1 version. I installed IBM lotus Notes 8.5.1. In a case I would need it.
The problem that occurs while I am attaching a PDF file in my emails, the pop up window shows a message that says: "No Microsoft Outlook profiles have been created".
Please, help me with this, I will appreciate it.

Error in attaching a PDF file to email
Hi Savchu
The error is encountered when trying to attach a PDF file to the Lotus Notes mail. No Microsoft Outlook profiles have been created.
The error looks like a compatibility issue with Windows 7 and Lotus Notes. I hope Lotus Notes is set as your default email application.
This issue occurs when email application is configured to open by using Windows program compatibility mode setting. When the application was configured on Windows XP, it would have been running fine, with setting configured to run compatible to Windows XP.
In Windows 7, when the same configuration was used, where it was configured to work compatible to Windows XP, whereas here it is Windows 7. This results in the error. No Microsoft Outlook profiles have been created.
Thanks

Error in attaching a PDF file to email
Hi Savchu,
If you use Gmail, just drag it in to your email,it will be auto saved as attach file.Or
Would be nice to know what email provider you use, too. Try to pack it as a.zip file. Try uploading it to a one-click-hoster like rapidshare.com and send your friend a link. Send it to your friend via MSN, Skype, Yahoo, AIM,
EDIT: Try a different email provider.Or
You might have a file size limit. You might want to try sending via Gmail instead, which has a 25 mb attachment file size limit.
