Error box shown while uploading the images using sitefinity

Hi guys,

I am recently using sitefinity for management of my website. When I try to upload the images, I see the following error on my screen:

The page at cvweb01.desales.edu says:

Return code: 0

What does this error means? I am not able to upload any images on my website.

Can anyone please look into the matter for me? I will be really thankful.

Error box shown while uploading the images using sitefinity

Hi Berthapearll, this issue had been a problem for many users of sitefinity. 

Return Code 0 error usually appears when trying to upload images on a specific site. This error means that there is a problem encountered with the service itself or there is an issue or problem on the server.

You can download and enable a Firebug on your browser just to find out if you are interrupting any service call and why are the images taking a long time to load. And you can also enable a Service Trace Viewer Tool to diagnose the actual error you are getting and resolve such issues.

To install the Service Trace Viewer Tool:

1. Go to and click “Install Now”

2. On the NEXT page, click Download and run the web installer (winsdk_web.exe).

3. Install the “.net Development tools.
