You can fix your problem by automatic photo gallery fix provided my Microsoft support team this is their link
If it didn't worked means you have to re – install windows live photo gallery go to start -> control panel -> add or remove programs or programs and features and remove it (uninstall it) then download from this URL and install it again.

The problem seems to be the Windows Live Photo Gallery installation itself. To fix the error, try to do the following steps:

1. Click the Start button then click Default Programs.
2. Click "Set your default programs".
3. From the left side of the window select Photo Gallery.
4. On the lower part of the window, click "Set this program as default".

5. Close the window.

Next you need to repair the Windows Live Essentials installation:

1. Click Start then click Control Panel.
2. Click Programs > Programs and Features.
3. From the list, look for Windows Live Essentials, right-click on it then select "Uninstall/Change".
4. On the next window, select "Repair all Windows Essentials programs".

5. Wait for it to finish then close the window.

You can also consider scanning your computer for malicious programs that might cause the error. To do this within the Safe Mode environment, do the following:

1. Click this Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free site to download the malware scanner and removal tool.
2. Look for the free version then click the Download button.
3. Wait for it to finish downloading then restart your computer.
4. As the computer restarts, press and hold the F8 key.
5. On the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys and choose Safe Mode.
6. Let your computer boot in Windows.
7. Look for the downloaded Malwarebytes software and install it.

8. Run the scanner, check if there are detections, remove them immediately then restart your computer to normal booting.

The error on the Windows Live Photo Gallery should be fixed.
