Error Code “O” in transferring files
Hi Pamilyn3,
I have a few question to ask.. Is your External Drive or any of the drive are in fat32 format?.. fat32 Hard Drives are not capable enough to transfer files larger than 4 Gig. So what you would need to do is transfer your file not in whole 30 gig files but instead transfer them little by little ..
You should refer to this website for the fat32 and ntfs Guide..

Cheers,

Is the external hard drive write protected? You will need to check that and in case there is any write protection remove it for it may be one causing the file transfer process to fail. You may also need to check the drive partition that you need to transfer the files to, if that folder has any protection of any kind it may be also preventing the successful transfer of the files.
Check the cable that you are using to connect the external hard drive to the computer, in case it is loosely attached then a connection is not being established and therefore the transfer process cannot be successful. You will need to fix problems with the cable for the process to be successful.
