Error connecting VMWare and Virtualbox to the internet

I used BitDefender Total Security 2012 and I got trouble on connecting my VMWare and Virtualbox machines to the internet. If I turn the Bitdefender Firewall to off, it will work. How can I make an exception for my Bitdefender firewall for my VMs? Can anyone help?

Error connecting VMWare and Virtualbox to the internet

Hello Ralph,

To resolve the issue that you are getting, you will need to try the following resolutions:

• First you will need to open bitdefender and then go to the Privacy tab. After that go to advanced and then turn off Scan SSL.
• Another workaround will be to go to bitdefender privacy Control Settings, and then choose Antiphising and then add VM to  White List.
