Error during installation of Office Home & Student 2010

Hi All,

I tried to install Office Home & Student 2010 but I’m getting an error during the installation process. It kept prompting that there was a problem setting up Microsoft Office Home & Student 2010. Can you please help me to finish the installation process?

Error during installation of Office Home & Student 2010

Hello Ella,

What kind of error were you getting during the installation? I wish you could have stated it so as we can easily brainstorm what the problem is. But most of the time problems during software installation are caused by corrupt operating systems of the CD's the operating systems are on.

The installation setup may be broken hence cannot be able to complete well, or the CD has been tampered with and has scratches that are preventing the DVD ROM from the reading the data properly from it. You will therefore need to get another installation CD to continue with the setup.

Error during installation of Office Home & Student 2010

Hi Ellaliccay,

What error message is it giving you?

You may have to uninstall the software and reinstall it.

If you are trying to install a beta version of the software, you may have to try

Installing the full working version of office 2010. Beta versions are work in progress,

Softwares that are still in progress.

Do make sure you are using the full working version of office 2010.

Before attempting re-installing the software make sure to uninstall the current software.

You can use Universal Uninstall or Perfect Uninstaller to completely remove a left behind

Files that may cause errors in future installations or operations.
