Error on DVD image when converting it to Divx

Hi experts.


With the help of poweriso I want to build up a DVD image (.img) for the sake of converting it to divx along with copy DVD mobile, but it outputs with an error message likely following:

Need a solution. Please help me.

Error:

CloneDVD Mobile      
      
Creation of DVD files was not successful:      
      
invalid block start code      
      
Encoder output:      
      
Cannot get Console handle of stdout      
Try appending the scale filter to your filter list.      
e.g. -vf spp.scale instead of -vf spp.      
[swscaler @ 00D0EEC4]720×576 -> 320×180      
a52: error at resampling      
      
One or more blocks might be corrupted by a prior copying process or by the source device covering critical read errors.      

Try copying the video files to your hard drive (again) and retry.

I don’t know if you are familiar about copying or cloning copyrighted discs. I don’t know if there is an application out there that is capable of copying or making a disc image of a copyrighted video disc. It’s a different story with copyrighted audio materials. An original copyrighted audio disc can be ripped and create mp3 files from it. But with copyrighted video discs, it is not possible. I’ve also tried it many times but it is really not possible.

Check your DVD video disc if it is an original copy. If it is an original copy then generally it is copyrighted and cannot be copied. You can play and watch it on your computer but you cannot copy its contents and even make a disc image of it. You cannot rip its content using a video conversion application or a DVD ripping software.
