Hi,
An error has occurred in Microsoft Office 2007 document. While saving as well as closing the document I received an error message "Microsoft Visual Basic Error, Compile Error in Hidden Module: Orbit ". However, my machine is running with Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2007. I reinstalled Office on my machine to get a remedy but no result. Have you any idea for the issue?
Please help.

Hi Juan,
The reason of crashing down of your Microsoft word saying that "Microsoft Visual Basic Error, Compile Error in Hidden Module: Orbit " is because of an error in a macro or add-in attempting forcefully to run. Commonly these add-in/macros are created by another party which is not included in the installation of Microsoft Word. Another reason is that the error is caused by a malicious ware or a virus. First thing you should do is to scan your system with your antivirus. If still the problem exists, determine if you are using global templates or add-in by:
-
Open MS Word
-
Go to Tools > Templates and Add-ins
-
See if there are list of Global templates and Add-in on the Word Startup/Office/ Startup
To locate Word Startup:
-
Go to Tools > Options > File Location > Startup > Modify
To resolve the problem, Exit MS Word then moves the add-ins out of the Startup folder. That’s it.
