An error with image of jQuery Windows 7.

Hello experts,

An error with image of jquery windows 7. Is the jquery image will work on windows 7 operating system? Unsupported file was the error message I received when trying to perform some installation. I hope you can share with me your ideas regarding this matter.

An error with image of jQuery Windows 7.

Hi Carter,

Jquery having some issues with windows 7 but it doesn't mean that window 7 is unsupportable for Jquery. Window 7 is not running Jquery is actually due to the Data Execution Prevention which is located in performance and settings you can to this setting by doing following.

 

Control panel -> System -> Advanced system settings -> (Performance) Settings -> Data Execution Prevention.

Turn off DEP or add jquery image in the exception list.

Hello Debra,

You are getting the error because the JQuery image that you have right now is possibly not meant to work on windows 7. That implies that the error is due to compatibility issues. You will therefore need to download a JQuery image that is specifically designed for windows 7.
