Error install on Mac OS X

I downloaded the Open Source MAC OS X install. When I try to run it, everything goes fine right up to the end of the installation section and it then reports, there was an error (no other info) and please try it again (didn't work).

Anyone has any idea why?

Error install on Mac OS X

If have been using Windows previously on your PC, then the first thing you have to do is create a partition in your hard disk.

Windows use (FAT,NTFS) format for using Windows. MAC has its own format, so now all you have to do is, to go to BIOS settings and create a new partition around 10GB size. After creating the partition on the hard drive, install the MAC OS X in that partition only. The MAC operating system will automatically change the format of the drive as needed.

Hopefully this time, you will be done with installing the operating system.
