Error installing blackberry Desktop software

Hello,

Recently, I was installing BlackBerry Desktop Software using Windows XP Operating system. I can’t install this software while it shows the following error message which I can’t understand so I need your suggestion to resolve this issue. What is the cause of this error? How can I avoid in future? Suggest me properly.

Error installing blackberry Desktop software

Hello Charles,

Verify that you have admin right before you perform the below steps.

1. Reboot the machine
2. Repeat the software installation
3. On the InstallShield Wizard screen select the Repair option, click Next. BlackBerry Desktop Software is now re-installed. Click on Finish.

If the error still persists, go to the Microsoft Windows Updates page and make sure that your computer has the latest Windows Service Pack and then try to reinstall the software.
