1. Can someone help me setup Microsoft Advertising Intelligence (MAI)?

I ran into some problems while installing my MAI, I couldn’t finish with the installation due to a “did not succeed” error.

Here is a picture of the error, which includes the details.

If this is the first time it happened with your installation of Microsoft Advertising Intelligence, try restarting your computer then try it again. If the installation still fails on that same part where it needs to download something from its server, check if your computer currently has a good internet connection.

Check the stability of your connection by opening your web browser and visiting some web sites. You may also try watching some streaming videos to check how fast your current connection is.

If you verified that there is nothing wrong with your connection, then maybe there is something wrong with your system.

Try downloading again its installer from here. Proceed on installing the file after downloading it and see if the installation will push through.

If ever something goes wrong again, maybe you are still missing some supporting programs that make it work. To use Microsoft Advertising Intelligence, it requires Microsoft Office Excel 2007 or 2010.

If you happened to have a different version of Microsoft Excel, try upgrading it to the 2007 or 2010 version. Try installing Microsoft Advertising Intelligence again after installing Microsoft Excel 2007 or 2010.
