Error message in Outlook Setings

A couple of days ago, I installed Outlook 2010 Beta on my PC and fix it up to perform with my Exchange account.

For the first two days, all things were all right, and I did not find trouble.

By the third day, however, I did find that I was not getting emails on Outlook from my Exchange account.

Outlook provides the error message "Not Implemented" when I click on.

"Send/Receive". It states, but, that it is linked to Microsoft Exchange. I do not identify if this is connected, however since this started, on the "File" tab page I have been receiving the message "Your mailbox is currently being optimized as part of upgrading to Microsoft Outlook 2010.

This one time process may take over 15 minutes to complete". There is some other message as well "You must upgrade to the latest version of the Outlook connector to continue using this email account." I absent Outlook on for the night to complete the optimization and installed the fresh beta version of Connector, but neither achievement sets the difficulty, and the messages keep showing.

I need help please!

Hello Mr. Ophir,

This type of problem happens because of Profile Setting.

For that you have to create a new profile, delete the last one.

Create a profile:

Exit Outlook > Go to Control Panel > Mail

A mail setup dialog box will show the current profile name, it will be on the title bar.

Because you are going to open a new account:

Show Profile > Properties > Add

Give a new name and click OK.

To Remove a profile:

Exit Outlook > Go to Control Panel > Mail

A mail setup dialog box will show the current profile name, it will be on the title bar.

Because you are going to delete an account:

Show Profile > Properties > Show profile > Select the profile > remove

If you want to access multiple profiles,

MS Outlook 2010 will prompt a dialog box so that you can choose your desired account.

But you must turn on the profile prompt to do that:

Exit Outlook > Control Panel > Mail

Show Profile > prompts for a profile to be used

Then at the opening time Outlook will prompt a dialog box, then choose the desired profile name.

Hope this will help you.

Hi, Onam Ophir,

I want to say that you can try to the following process to fix the error message "Not Implemented":-

1. ‘Exit’ the ‘Microsoft Outlook’.

2. Go to ‘C:Program Files.

3. Locate ‘Scanpst.exe’ then double click on it.

4. In the ‘Enter the name of the file you want to scan’ box, enter the name of the (.PST) or (.OST) file that you want to check, or click ‘Browse’ to look for the file.

5. Click ‘Options’ and then click the option you want to specify scan log options.

6. Click ‘Start’.

7. If errors found while scanning then you will be prompted to start the repair process.

8. Click ‘Repair’.

9. ‘Start’ Outlook uses the profile that contains the (.PST) file that you can try to repair.

10. On the ‘Go’ menu, click ‘Folder List’.

11. To view subfolders, click the plus sign ‘(+)’ next to the folder.

12. If the Folder List is not visible, on the ‘Go’ menu, click ‘Folder List’.

13. Locate ‘Recovered Personal Folders’ in the folder list.

14. Create a new ‘.PST’ file.

15. ‘Drag’ the items in the ‘Lost and Found’ folder into the new (.PST) file.

16. ‘Remove’ the Recovered Personal Folder (.PST) file, included the Loss and Found folder from your profile.

I hope that you can fix it by trying this procedure.

Thanks & Regards

Gillam Janetj
