Hello,
Please help me get over come this problem. My USB mouse is recently not supporting my pc though it works in other computers. It was working nicely in recent times. However now each time I try to connect it shows "USB device not supported". I don't know what to do either. Is that a hardware problem or a software problem?
Please help me as soon as possible.

Error message while connecting USB mouse
It depends on whether the cause is software (system settings or drivers) or hardware (actual usb ports).
You should try plugging it in another port.If it still does not work, try rebooting your system and plugging it in. You may need to update your driver or check to see if it has been deleted, you click on start, click on your mouse icon, check to see if the device is working properly or even connected. If its not, then check device manager, click on power management, right clicking properties, untick the allow the pc to turn off device, then click "ok" Repeat steps for all usb ports. Hope this was helpful.Â
Error message while connecting USB mouse
Hello Dear,
It seems as if your mouse is dead. Attach your mouse to your computer, and check it with all USB ports. See if the cable is warming up. If yes, replace your mouse. If you see that the wire is OK and your mouse is still in the same state, then connect your mouse to another system. If it runs there, then reinstall your mouse’s driver. If you see that the mouse is not working there and is showing the same error, then it is your hardware that is the problem. Thanks.
