Hi guys,

I received this Windows error message while connecting Vodafone Mobile to my machine.

Have a look at the message.

mobile connection

Vodafone Mobile Connect

Mobile connection not possible.

-Set your current mobile device as the default

device in the 'Manage Devices' view

-Ensure that no other programs are using your

mobile devices and try again in a short while

-Delete the device in the 'Manage Devices' view,

add it back again, and then try connecting.

If this error persists, please contact Support

at your mobile network operator.

Support information:

RAS error code 618

                          OK

I tried all the necessary steps to fix the problem, but failed. I also visited respective site but no satisfactory result.

Please suggest me the solution.

Hello.

The connection driver might have been malfunctioned. Try to uninstall the driver and reinstall it again.

To do so follow the below steps.

1. Go to control panel > programs > uninstall program.

2. Search for connectivity drive and uninstall it.

3. Restart your system and try to reconnect your mobile.

4. This should solve your problem.

Well after very vast searching I have found a possible solution for you.

First of all I would like to suggest you to look for updated version of VMC if it is available then try it and run your program again.

If this is not your solution then please follow this.

Usually RAS error 770 is normally generated due to dial up network connection.

If still you found that error then check your settings by running the software.

Go to Advance > Properties > add settings > mobile > network >APN- Internet (For contract only) > username – web > password – web > OK

By following some tricks you can solve this issue too. Connect you mobile broadband USB DONGLEE to your computer. When Autoplay is enabled on you PC the broadband dashboard will automatically open after inserting the mobile broadband modem. Then close the dashboards. Click Start>> Control Panel>> select Add or Remove Programs. From the list select Vodafone Mobile Broadband and then click Change/Remove.
