Error message while copying a hard disk to a latest disk image

Hello,

When I try to copy a hard disk to a latest disk image, I get this error message – "The image creation procedure failed".

However, I am able to navigate, mount, and apply files on the disk icon, and the archive and original disk sizes are similar; but the error recommended is reporting a trouble.

Is there any technique of verifying whether all the files did actually, get archived?

Also, I intend to present logs.

Please help.

Thanks a lot!

Dear Darlene,

If you try to run the scheduled task manually again while the CCC is mounting a disk image, try to eject the shared network volume in the Finder and then re-run the backup again. This is because you attempted to run it while it is still working.

Hello,

CCC can’t write data a disc if the file system where the data resides does not support F-FULLFSYNC file control. And at that time error message appear. When we write data from hard disc to a disc, at first data goes to the write buffer. After starting to write some portion of data to the write buffer, hard drive starts to write at disc. An inconsistency situation will create if power fails or disc connection to the computer broken.

I thing you realize the problem.
