Error with MS Word Doc File and NIS 2012

The MS Office Auto-Scan is enabled with Norton Internet Security 2012. Now, all my MS Word doc files are giving the same error when I open it. The error says “The command cannot be performed because a dialog box is open." When it set to disabled, the error is not showing. How can I correct this?

What is the Microsoft word that you are using 2003 or 2007

If you are using 2003/2007 try this one first is Open your Microsoft word 2003 and then open the file you wanted to open.

Now please close Word 2007/2003 go  Start>Programs>Accessories>Windows Explorer.

Find this folder C:Documents and SettingsusernameApplication DataMicrosoftWordSTARTUP (this is for 2007)

C:Documents and SettingsusernameApplication DataMicrosoftWordStartup (this is 2003)

But if your running Vista, The folder you need to find is in

C:UsersusernameAppDataRoamingMicrosoftWordSTARTUP (for 2007)

C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOFFICE12STARTUP (for 2007)

C:UsersusernameAppDataRoamingMicrosoftWordSTARTUP  (for 2003)

C:Program FilesMicrosoft OfficeOffice11Startup folder (for 2003)

Open the Startup folder. In the right Windows Explorer pane,find, select and delete and template.
