Error Number: 0x80040706 Not Set Setup will now terminate

While installing of Multisim 9 or Ultiboard 9 the installer got crashed with the following error message (see picture attached):

Multisim 9 – InstallSheild Wizard

Unhandled Exception

Error Number: 0x80040706

Description: Object Reference Not Set

Setup will now terminate

How can I fix this?

Error Number: 0x80040706 Not Set Setup will now terminate

Hi there! Some of its components that already have been downloaded might have been corrupted. I suggest you run a virus scan and if your computer is clean, then try uninstall all Multisim 9 related components and files and then try to reinstall the software. Make sure system requirements are also met.
