Hi experts,

The 1406 error message arise when the files required for the installing of the Office software suite are not given the right permissions. I just put it in the right position but still the same situation appeared. I am trying to resolve this issue using online forums but unable to fix this error properly. Please help me. Thanks.

Error 1406.Could not write value to keyaep. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

This error occurs during the installation of Microsoft Office software if the user does not have the required permissions to modify or write to a particular location in the registry. You will have to take a backup of your registry and then make some changes. Follow the steps described in this article by Microsoft to successfully install Office on your computer.
