Hi

Today morning I have fixed one internal error but I am getting another internal error

Internal error

How to get it fixed?

 

AVS Video Convertor 6.2

Error

An internal error was encountered (code:256).

Please, contact the support service if this error

persists.

An error occurred with Error code: 256.

Hello Sabrina Becnel,

This error seems to be directory related. Firstly you should make sure that the directory that you are trying to access to save the converted file is connected to your computer. For example if it is a hard drive or a USB stick. If this isn't an issue, make sure that the directory you are trying to save the file to is writable. So make sure that you can write in that directory and if you can't save the file somewhere else, etc. Desktop. If any of these solve your problem then I suggest that you download and install the latest version of AVS Video Converter and try again.

An error occurred with Error code: 256.

Hello Sabrina,

To fix the error please follow the following steps:

1. Open your AVS Converter and go to the input file.

2. Here you will see the AVI button, press it and choose preset.

3. select the Advanced tab. Here verify your settings and restore the default settings

4. Also choose the path which can be accessed by your computer, when this error appears it's finding a folder which is never there.

This will resolve your problem.

An error occurred with Error code: 256.

Error 256 is mainly caused if a valid output directory is not selected or if the output folder which is selected is write protected. Side by side these solutions also visit this Techyv post too to get more information.
