Everything seems to be working on my suse linux, but when I try to watch a movie it gives me an error. I tried to install codec for video files but no luck. Video file of movie is avi and it should be shown without a problem.
An error occurred
The playback of this movie requires a FILE protocol source plugin which is not installed.

The problem you have is that you haven't install plugins for avi formats that's your computer is unable to play movies having avi format. What you have to do, search on Google and install plugins for avi format. or download a media player which can play avi format. There are many sites from which you can download media players. Some of them are as below
You can also directly download media player from Google, Type in Google and download the best media player which could run almost all type of format is VLC media player download it from any of the above site and install, this will solve your problem, and enjoy watching movies.

Hi,
Â
I also encounter this error, even after I already reset the router, make changes to firewall settings and restarting the router, I still cannot play the rented movie from iTunes.
Â
Even though my ADSL speed only around 2Mbps, I can view YouTube and other movie trailer.
Â
Luckily I have not been charged for the movie yet, and I hope I am not charged for this movie that not playable.
Other things to note, using my iPad and my windows XP computer, I can play the movie so I still don't know what's causing the problem/
Â
I guess I'll just rent the movie using my iPad next time as long as it still allow us to airplay the rented movie."

Weird thing is Firefox won't load a YouTube video placed on other sites, what I tried to do is clicking:
Tools>Options>Clear history when Firefox closes-Settings , clear everything, restarting Firefox, back again to the website that
Â
Have YouTube videos and click one (Firefox might take a lot of time to load if you have lots of history data)
This way the problem solved, but I need to check if the problem still exists when I return the setting back to normal.
