An error occurred while attempting to create the directory

Hi!

Hello,

I faced an error while I was trying to update Skype on my laptop machine of Sony Company and the brand name is vaio. First I removed Skype totally from my system, purged many of my temp directories, and flush out all registries dealing with Skype. When I started the installation again an error generates [here is the error screen shot]

Error: An error occurred while attempting to create the directory: C:UsersownerAppData

I was surprised that this type of error is generated in all installations at my machine, now.

Please help me out of this problem as soon as possible.

Hey Arthur, 

I think I knew why that error message is coming. Firstly you shouldn't delete all temp directories on your own, you should have just uninstalled it in a regular manner. Now you have done that no worries just try to install the applications by right clicking on them and selecting Run as administrator. This happened because now system don't allow you to create directories in System loaded (or  C:) drive. However I hope this will help you.
