Live cannot be installed on Windows

Live Versions: Live 8.3 – Current

OS: WIN

Symptom

Installing the Ableton Live installer (*. MSI) shows with the following error message:

Ableton Live 8 Setup

Anerror occurred during the installation of assembly

'Microsoft.VC90.MFC.version=”9.0.30729.6161”,publicK

eyToken=”1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b”, processorArchitecture=”

amd64”,type=”win32”. Please refer to Help and Support

for more information.

Later on verifying the message window, the installation unsuccessful.

What to should I do at this time?

Error occurred while Installing the Ableton Live 8

Dear Raegannkelly,

There is a system file win 32 missing. There may be virus problem. Some viruses can remove your system files automatically. So, scan your full PC and setup Windows again. Clean your PC. Use antivirus and PC cleaner. Try again to install your desired file. I hope your problem will be solved.
