Some corrupted files might be in there and will only permit the program to use them again as an alternative to replacing them. Try to install it once more and check, if the file was also deleted. Uninstall the application, and then browse to C drive and ‘Program Files.’ Make sure, if the folder is still there.

If the file wasn’t deleted, remove it and then start your PC again. If it doesn’t permit you to remove it, start your PC again. After booting, go to C drive and then ‘Program File’ another time, and then remove the power ISO file. Now, set up power ISO once more then, check if it is working. If still does not work, download and set up the newest version.

That probably indicates a problem with PowerISO itself because the virtual drive is installed automatically when you install the program. Try to uninstall and reinstall the program. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select your PowerISO among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process.

When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller then install PowerISO back. This should fix the problem. If you have a valid license, update to the latest. Go to the PowerISO Home Page to get the latest.

The latest version at the moment, PowerISO 7.3, supports Windows 98, Windows Millennium, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10 including Windows Server 2003. It requires 166 MHz or faster Intel Pentium or equivalent AMD processor, 64 MB RAM, and 10 MB free space.
