Error with portable version of Shutdown timer

I have just downloaded the portable version Shutdown timer. When I open it up there is a error box saying it must close.  Sorry for the inconvenience. The same problem is with some other particular software's too. It has happened on a few other programs too, how can I solve this?

Error with portable version of Shutdown timer

Good day. The problem must have been caused by an error during installation. The first thing that you have to do is try to uninstall and reinstall the software. If it still don’t work, then the problem might be an issue of compatibility. You have to check if that portable shutdown timer is compatible to the OS and the architecture of the machine.

Before you downloaded that particular software, you must have noticed the specifications as to what machine is it compatible with, whether with Vista, 7, etc or whether it is 32-bit or 64-bit. If it’s really important for you to have this kind of software, download another software with the same capability that is compatible to your machine.

Error with portable version of Shutdown timer

You just need to take some precautions before downloading and installing the program.

1. Download the Portable version Shutdown timer from official or trusted website.

2. After downloading install the program and make sure other programs are closed.

3. Restart the system after installation this portable version.

These easy steps will help to install the program successfully if it does not work then try to reinstall the Windows Operating System and then install the compatible version.

Error with portable version of Shutdown timer

If you installed a program called “Shutdown Timer” but when you open it for the first time it just exited immediately displaying that error, check that your computer meets the requirements. If you downloaded that program from a website, visit that website and check the system requirements. Verify that your computer is compatible. One reason for that error is compatibility.

If you have Windows 7, the program may not support your operating system. Alternatively, just download any of these three similar programs:

• Shutdown Timer Portable
• Simple Shutdown Timer – this supports Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.x including Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008
• PowerOff Timer – this one is exclusive for Microsoft Windows 10
