Hi guys,

It’s about Oracle Database 11g Release 2 installer.

At the option “My Oracle support Username/Email Address,

I wanted to proceed without entering email address. It threw an alert message

You have not provided an email address.

Yes No

If I proceed ignoring the message, what will happen?

Please let me know the details.

Error regarding Oracle Database 11g Release 2 installer

Hello Kimberly,

It's up to you to choose the option that you want but I will recommend that you choose the option that will allow you to be getting updates about the critical security issues in the configuration. This will help you fix any issues that may put the application at risk of malfunctioning and as such have a risk on the database.
