Error shown after setting Virginmedia account using NTLWORLD

Hey all,

I am using NTLWORLD, which works well and I have just set up a Virgin media account, which was working well.

Then, all of a sudden, I get the following error message:

Some error occurred

Some errors occurred while processing the requested tasks.
Please review the list of errors below for more details.

An unknown error has occurred.

I have asked Virgin Media, but they have not got back to me.

If you could please help me, I'll be grateful.

Hi Asteneves,

A possible reason why you are getting that error is because your email account may have been infiltrated, and therefore it has been blocked. So you will need to reset your password for your windows live account.

If you can remember the secret answer you gave when creating the account, the following steps will help you change the password provided the intruder has not altered your alternative email address which hotmail will use to send you the reset password. Note that it may take up to 24 hours for the password to be successfully reset:

  • First, access the Windows Live password page.
  • Next type your Windows Live Hotmail address under the following: Windows Live ID:.
  • You will then have to enter the characters from the captcha under Characters correctly and the click continue to proceed to the next step.
  • Next you will click onProvide account information and answer your secret question..
  • Enter the location details, and then the answer to the secret question and the click continue.
  • Enter the answer to the secret question under Secret Answer:
  • Insert the new password that you want to use and the click Done.
