Error shown regarding FileMaker Pro

Hi guys,

Have you any idea regarding the error of FileMaker Pro? It says “MES SPECIAL ED 12_13.fp7” is currently in use and could not be opened. If the file is shared, you can use the Open Remote command to open the file on the network. (If you have opened the file before, check the Open Recent menu.)”. 

What does it mean?

Please help.

Error shown regarding FileMaker Pro

 

Hello.

Regarding the error of FileMaker Pro, this error mainly occurs because one or more services of the FileMaker Pro are opened and running in the background.

So as to open the FileMaker Pro you must turn off all the services of the FileMaker Pro that are opened and running in the background.

To do so, press ctrl + alt +del keys simultaneously to open task manager.

In the task manager select process tab and check for the FileMaker Pro services.

If found select the service and click on end task button and close the task manager.
