Error: Signature check failed for file ER_CONFIG.sig

In my .NET Micro Framework Deployment Tool, I am facing a critical problem. It is showing the following error messages.

All the screenshots are attached here. The error says,

Error: Signature check failed for file ER_CONFIG.sig

 

I need an expert’s suggestion in this regard. ASAP, please.

Error: Signature check failed for file ER_CONFIG.sig

Hello,
Signatures are electronic security mark added to files. It allows one to verify the publisher of a file and also verify that the file hasn’t changed since it was digitally signed.
If the signature check of a file fails it could mean that the file has been tampered with (by a virus mostly). I suggest the following actions:
1. Update your anti-virus software.
2. Get a new ER_CONFIG.sig file and replace it with the other file.
3. Restore your system to an earlier time.
