Hi Rosalind,
It seems that the printer drivers that you are trying to install have some compatibility issues either with the version of the operating system that you are using or the specifications of your system, for instance the drivers could not be supported with the model of the computer that you are using (Model of computer can be HP, DELL, ACER etc)
The solution here will be to contact the customer support of the people who sold you the printer and gave you those drivers and demand for a fresh CD with drivers hoping that you still have the warranty.
Or you could still download the drivers online, just Google them with the right system specifications online and you may be lucky to find them.

Hi,
You just simply check your installer of the HP printer if there an files has been corrupted and then try to download the HP printer again if it’s possible and then maybe there is an old file that cause the problem or maybe there an file that retrieved from the HP printer installer just simply download the error repair tools and then after you download the error repair tools from your machine you just simply install that to your PC and then after installing the error repair tools to your unit your just simply start scanning the PC and then after scanning the PC you just simply repair the found errors to your machine just simply try that.
