I was attempting to install Norton Ghost 14 on my PC with Vista. I then got this error message with code 1935. I tried reinstalling but I got the same error message.  I searched the internet to get some answers but I didn’t get any so I turned to this forum to get help for the experts.Â
Please help me resolve the problem. I need to back-up my files badly. Thanks in advance.

Error when installing Norton Ghost with error code 1935
Hi Terryn,
Â
Uninstall Norton and try reinstalling it again. Make sure that it is updated or you have installed the latest version. Have you tried turning off the UAC? It might help you solve your issue. Try installing visual c++ runtime then identify the error in the Ghost msi. You can also check the event log for more information error. Check out the link.
If you have a CD of Norton Ghost, use it and install. But if you downloaded it, just find the installation file and double click it to be able to installed. I hope it helps.

Hi,

First thing you need just simply check or scan your machine if there an corrupted files and then just simply scan your system if there infected application from viruses or maybe an spyware just simply check on that if it’s possible and then try to download the latest version from your application or software and then maybe try to upgrade that and then try to uninstall the application and then try to download a new if it’s possible and then install the new downloaded application to your machine after you finishing installing your machine or software to your PC just simply restart that to be safe only.
