Error While the MWB was Being Updated

Hi,

I have been getting error 732 on MWB. I first encountered this error while the MWB was being updated.

After that I received the same error every time I tried to update the software.

I have attached a screen shot of the error below.

I though a scan would solve the problem, so I uninstalled it and scanned my machine.

Nothing was found, but the MWB is not updating either.

The error 732 is persisting. I would really appreciate a quick answer to this.

Hello Christine Conklin,

Error 732 means that your MWB could not connect to the internet and there for is indicating that there is a problem with the internet connectivity of your system. This might have happened because of any of the following cases:
 
Your internet connection settings has been changed by possible accelerator or proxy software or any security software that uses proxy settings. Check and fix the internet configuration settings correctly.
 
Your MWB version might is probably too old to connect to the update servers of MWB.
 
In order to fix this, You can, EITHER- Install the latest version over the top of the existing program by following this link:
Which will redirect you to one of the following download sites such as:
Download and install the file. Then Update the file which will automatically update itself to the latest version.
This will solve the problem.
 
Go to the main website of MWB; Download the latest version, uninstall your installed version and then install the downloaded latest version and update it after installation.
 
Restart your computer and the problem.

This error code points that you are running on your system older version of Malwarebytes Antimalware, and thus you can’t update your program until you get an updated version.

You should do following:

1. Download and execute mbam-clean exe from this location:

(it is a tool for safe and clean uninstall of all versions of Malwarebytes Antimalware).

Restart your computer (this is important!).

2. Download and install fresh new copy of Malwarebytes Antimalware from this location:
