Hi!
I’ve researched the net for the solution and it seems a lot of WLM users are having this problem. Hopefully there are different ways to solve it. Please try out one or more of the following:
(01)
a. Open task manager (press Ctrl + Alt + Delete) and click the ‘Processes’ tab. Locate the processes ‘msnmsgr.exe’ and ‘wlcomm.exe’ and terminate them by right clicking and choosing ‘end process’.
b. Open notepad
c. Open the file named’hosts’ from C:WINDOWSsystem32driversetc
d. Go to the bottom and paste the following if they are not written already
65.54.239.80 messenger.hotmail.com
65.54.239.80 dp.msnmessenger.skadns.net
You may need to align them with tab button so they match the alignment of other entries in the file
e. Save the file and close it
f. Open command prompt and type
ipconfig /flushdns
g. Restart your machine
(02)
