ERROR_INSTALL_TRANSFORM_FAILURE 1624 There was an error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid.

I have an install, generated with InstallShield for Windows Installer 1.1. Everything runs well. But now I have two clients with a problem ERROR_INSTALL_TRANSFORM_FAILURE (1624) when I call MsiOpenPackage from a C-Library.

I have not found any information about this error and how to fix it. Please help me.

ERROR_INSTALL_TRANSFORM_FAILURE 1624 There was an error applying transforms

 

 

ERROR_INSTALL_TRANSFORM_FAILURE (1624).

 

 

The above error was caused by windows Installer (Msiexec.exe) file in windows operating systems.

 

 

To fix this problem, download reimagerepair.exe from (www.pcpr.org/repair-errors). This will help you back up your data. After backing up your data, download a PC cleaner pro from (http://www.pc-cleaners.com) which will clean,repair or fix errors associated with internet explorer, exe, DLL errors, OCX errors, INF files.

Hello,

When Windows 1624 error occurs, any upgrade to the user will be conflicted. Also installation of additional programs will not be completed unless the error is rectified. This error might be a result of invalid registry entries and corrupt drivers.

The possible solution is that you should reinstall the application after clearing the registries.

Or you can create verbose log file while the user is setting up the program.

I hope this information provides a solution.
