ERROR_ROLLBACK_DISABLED 1653 Could not perform a multiple-package transaction because rollback has been disabled. Multiple-Package Installations cannot run if rollback is disabled. Available beginning with Windows Installer version 4.5.

I had problems with the update of my programs. I wanted to go back to the previous state of my computer but I cannot rollback. “Could not perform a multiple-package transaction because rollback has been disabled” is given.

How do I enable it?

Hello Alex,

Try the following workarounds and see if they will help:

First try manually sweeping for duplicate records and after that delete the one that shows no client. If you still get the issue you can try installing a setup a status filter rule that will run a script to automatically delete the record.
