Errors due to Click&Clean extension on Google Chrome

Hi,

I am having errors due to the Click&Clean extension on my Google Chrome.

Opening and closing my browser produces the same error “Could not open preferences. Code 5:

Access is denied”.

What should I do with the extension? Do I have to remove it from Chrome?

Pleas tell.

Dear User,

It would indicate that this happened because you don’t have administrative privileges.

Follow these options,

You can either log in to your system using an administrator account and try to access this.

Or you can right click google chrome and select run as administrator. There you maybe asked for a password. If so provide your administrator password.

Errors due to Click&Clean extension on Google Chrome

Hi,

The problem could be as a result of certificate issues in chrome. To solve it you will have to edit some of the files in the chrome folder.

Go to Documents and Settings in the local disk, then to Local Settings, Application Data and double click on Chrome folder. from then right click on user data folder click to select on security tab and the advanced and select replace permission entries and press ok.
