Errors Using Public FTP Russian Servers

Whenever I am trying to upload files using public FTP Russians servers an error message is seen.

The message is "blocking call canceled".

What is the meaning of this message and how can I solve it?

Please help.

Errors Using Public FTP Russian Servers

Hello Kristi,

The "Blocking call canceled" error that you are getting can be helped in the WS_FTP Pro classic interface by doing the following:

• Checking/un-checking the Use Passive Transfer Mode checkbox that can be found on the Session tab of the Options dialog box,
• And then clicking the Set As Default button.
• Another option will be to use the Advanced Tab of Session Properties to either choose Passive Transfers as well as increase the Network Timeout setting to 120.
• After that you will need to make sure that you save your changes by clicking the Apply button.
• And then you can start with version 6.50, and Use Passive Transfer Mode should be on by default.
