Hi guys, I was working on my files, organizing my zip files, when I want to change the association of my 7zip files, and the error message appeared on my screen that tells me, An event was unable to invoke any of the subscribers, I posted below the screen shot of the error message.
7-Zip
An event was unable to invoke any of the subscribers
As I looked into the error message, it seems it did not give any clear view of the scenario, and reason for the error, since I don't see any relation with the error and subscription, I also search the internet for similar error, but I nothing was found, please help me with my problem.
Thanks guys.

Hello jamescoulty,
I think you are using windows 7. It would better if I could know that which is the version of your windows and also is it 32 bit or 64 bit. This problem happens with 7-zip most of the time in windows. You should try it in administrative mode. Just right click on the file and select run as administrator.
Thank you,
Riley weaver.

I’ve been using 7-Zip for almost a year now and even if I’m not using Windows 7, because I’m using Windows XP Service Pack 3, I haven’t had any instance of having an error with this program. Not a single one. It’s odd to have an error like that and to think that Windows 7 both 32-bit and 64-bit is supported so there’s no way that you will have incompatibility issue here.
Not unless you installed the wrong version of 7-Zip then you will surely encounter an error. The installer of 7-Zip is available in different versions for the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows. If you are using Microsoft Windows 32-bit, the installer you can download is available in two formats: first is in .exe, and the second is in .msi format.
For 64-bit Microsoft Windows, the installer is available only in .msi format. If you are using an older version, download the latest version from Download 7-Zip for Windows. When downloading, make sure to select the correct version of the installer for your operating system. See the image below.
Uninstall your present version then download and install the correct version from the link above. Changing the association of the formats handled by 7-Zip is very easy. Open 7-Zip, click Tools, then Options. In System tab, check the ones you want to associate or simply click “Select all” to check all formats and then click OK. See image.
To remove a file, simply uncheck the format you want to remove.
