Hi all.

I have posted my problem here and I hope to find much support on this topic in your blogs.
I hope you can help me this time. I till failed to run this successfully.

Backup task Incremental[] [IS backup] on computer completed with errors.Member invoke failed, Failed to create full backup of storage group 'First Storage Group' (database(s): 'Mailbox Store') from Microsoft Exchange Server ., ESE adapter server raised error: Either the target process, or the target thread's containing process, is a protected process. , The system returned error: `Either the target process, or the target thread's containing process, is a protected process (2,147,943,693)`

Need some suggestions. Thanks a lot in advance.

Exchange 07 Server 2008 Error-the target process or the target thread

This means that you have messed up the installation of the software and that you need to do it again because all the paths that are needed by the application are scrambled and are not found during the execution.

1. Reinstallation is necessary. Once done proceed further.
2. Leave all the options as it is and don't define paths by yourself. If there are already defined paths, let them as they are.
3. Do the complete installation.
4. Now open up the software and make a temporary project or workplace.
5. Run few things to check if the problem comes again or not. Once you make sure that there is nothing wrong, you can then try again with your own data.
