I want to know why use VMware workstationfor working on virtual machines. I just started to work in these kinds of environment and getting suggestions for using VMware. Please explain.

Explanation Of Why Use VMware Workstation For Operating Virtual Machines.

VMware is definitely the best software if you want to work on virtual environment. Some of the reasons are given below.

1. Testing operating system.

If you want to test operating system’s features you can install it using VMware. This will allow you to work on a virtual space without actually installing it on your system.

2. Perfect, if you are an IT administration.

For example, if you are working on windows 8 or higher version, and you need to run an application which runs on windows XP, you can easily install windows XP using VMware and can run your application without losing your data which is actually on your system.

3. Browser testing

Sometimes a browser works perfect on Windows but the same browser shows a bug when runs on OSX or Linux. Using VMware you can create different virtual environments to test your browser.
