Hi there,

I have a Seagate GoFlex 2TB external  Hard drive which was working well with my Dell Inspiron Desktop, the external drive Icon started disappearing from windows explorer and I decided to format it, I have Easeus partition master and when I completed formatting, I partitioned the drive but windows explorer can no longer find the drive, What could be the problem? How do I get this external drive working?

Hi !

When you have bought your external hard drive Seagate GoFlex 2TB it came with special softwares to use included on a partition or on a CD Driver. When you have formatted the hard drive you erases all softwares, drivers and firmware. Usually drivers are used to install a hard drive and make it work with the rest of hardwares and softwares. Your hard drive had a special softwares for Partitioning, Formating etc. Your OS doesn't recognize your hard drive because the firmware is missing.

You can make your hard drive to work again is by Accessing External Drives official website. Search, download and install your hard driver software again and it will work properly.
